HANG TUAH CENTRE
DUYONG, MELAKA 2024
IMPACT is thrilled to unveil the newly revitalised Hang Tuah Centre in Melaka, where
history meets technology. This transformed space merges Melaka’s rich heritage
with digital experiences, designed to capture the interest of younger audiences and
tourists alike.
Visitors can now witness the legendary duel between Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat through a holographic display, bringing this iconic moment to life. A Virtual Reality experience further transports guests to old Melaka’s bustling trade scenes, creating a vivid journey into the past. An Augmented Reality feature invites them to mimic Silat movements, fostering an interactive connection to traditional martial arts. Additionally, a gesture-controlled digital book lets users flip through pages of history with the wave of a hand, adding an intuitive element to the experience. Alongside these digital highlights, the Centre offers various other interactive modules and exhibits for an engaging exploration.
This project underscores IMPACT’s dedication to reimagining museum spaces through technology, making heritage both accessible and captivating.
