The Brooke Dockyard Industrial Heritage Museum officially opened in Kuching on 21 April 2026. The former working dockyard now offers visitors a way to explore the ships, machinery and people behind Sarawak’s maritime and industrial history.
IMPACT delivered the museum’s interior exhibition fit-out, combining original machinery and artefacts with graphics, film, sound and interactive media. Our work also extended to exhibition elements within the full-scale replica of HHY Zahora, one of the museum’s main
attractions.
The project retains the dockyard’s industrial character while making its stories accessible to a new generation. We are pleased to have helped shape the visitor experience at this historic Kuching site.
